Merlin Introduces Cloud Utility Pricing for Ediscovery Hosting

Join us for a groundbreaking webinar on  Cloud Utility Pricing, the first hourly pricing ever offered for ediscovery hosting. Cloud Utility Pricing allows clients to take control of hosting costs by turning their sites on when they need them and off when they don’t.

The ability to offer Cloud Utility Pricing stems from Merlin’s unique single-tenant cloud architecture. Over the past year, we developed scripts to automate taking sites on and offline in minutes.  When sites are offline, we can reduce hosting fees because our costs are reduced as well.

Cloud Utility Pricing allows us to offer a radically new ediscovery pricing model that is guaranteed to save money on hosting costs. Rather than pay by the month whether you use your site or not, move to a cloud hourly model. Pay one low hourly rate when you use the site and another, substantially reduced rate when you turn the site off.

Cloud hourly pricing can save clients as much as 70% on their hosting bills without any sacrifice on site time. There are 730 hours in the month and we rarely use a fraction of them, about 5% of the month by some estimates. Indeed, if you and the team were active on the site for 8 hours a day, five days a week, that would only amount to 25% of the month, resulting in about a 70% discount on hosting costs.
